DUMPED Jordan fled the country last night after Peter Andre ended their 3½-year marriage — and she admitted: “I’m devastated.”

Peter, 36, was furious at pictures in yesterday’s Sun of his sozzled wife with a mystery fella as she flaunted her boobs at a club - and declared: “She's out of control.”

The busty glamour girl, 30 — real name Katie Price — wept: “Pete is my life. This is not what I want.”

But singer Pete said of his glamour model wife, after she was pictured legless in yesterday’s Sun thrusting her 32D chest in front of clubbers: “I’m not jealous of anybody until Katie is drunk.

“There’s nobody I feel threatened by when she’s sober. But if she’s drinking I know she’s capable of anything.

“The devil gets inside her and she’s a nightmare. I trust her when she’s sober but I don’t trust her when she’s drinking.”

Shattered Katie wept hours after the celebrity couple declared their 3½-year marriage dead: “Pete is the love of my life — and my life.

“We have children together and I am devastated and disappointed by Peter’s decision to separate and divorce me — as I married him for life.”

The pair are expected to fight over their £30million-plus joint fortune.

Katie left their Surrey mansion last night after issuing a statement saying: “This is not what I want and the decision has been taken out of my hands.

“I will not comment further or do any interviews regarding the separation. But I will always love my Pete.”

Last night bookies offered odds of 2/1 they will get back together — and 6/1 that they renew their wedding vows for a glossy magazine.

But Peter insisted five years after the couple fell in love on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!: “I’ve been so unhappy.”

The singer told a pal: “Katie has everything she could ever want — look at our beautiful children. She’s got a multi-million pound career and a dream home.

“But it’s like she is insistent on pressing the self-destruct button.

“She is the most lovely woman when she is being just herself and I will always love her. But in the end, it all got too much to handle.”

Their bombshell split comes just a fortnight after the beaming couple finished the London marathon together — and days after they were snapped hand-in-hand after going for dinner in London at the weekend.

But insiders have long known of the cracks in their marriage.

The Sun can reveal how weeks ago sozzled Katie — who reverted back to her real name after shooting to glamour fame as Jordan — blurted out in a nightclub toilet that her marriage was on the rocks.

She stunned revellers by flaunting her wedding band and screaming: “This ring means NOTHING.”

Peter has told pals he is desperate to move back to the States, where the couple spent three months being filmed for the latest in their ITV fly-on-the-wall documentaries — Katie and Peter: Stateside.

Peter — a pop singer when the pair met — has been desperate to resurrect his music career.

The cameras caught the couple rowing during their stay in Los Angeles after Katie accused her husband of having an affair. She later retracted her allegation.

At Elton John’s Oscars party in February, Peter admitted he wanted to set up home in California. He said: “I love it here. The weather, the people and everything about it is amazing. I’d live here forever.

“But she wants to go home. I even offered to buy her some horses but she still didn’t want to live here.”

Peter wed the mega-boobed model in 2005 — in an over-the-top ceremony at a castle where the couple cashed in by selling exclusive photo rights to a magazine.

Jordan was already mum to severely disabled son Harvey — now seven — whose dad is soccer star Dwight Yorke. She and Peter went on to have two children — Junior, three, and 21-month daughter Princess Tiaamii.

But her husband has never made any secret of his hatred for his silicone-enhanced wife’s outrageous alter-ego — the party-loving Jordan.

He said of her boozing: “It makes our relationship vulnerable.

“From the moment she starts drinking I lose her and I don’t get her back until the next morning. Kate’s had problems with drink. She knows she can’t handle it. It turns her into someone I don’t recognise and I don’t like.”

He went on sadly: “Often she forgets I’m even there. She becomes a completely different person and I have to keep my eye on her at all times. She really goes for it.

“She can’t just have one or two — she doesn’t know when to stop. And she’s so tiny she can’t take it.

“When I’ve confronted Kate about her drinking it turned into massive rows. I’m not asking her never to have a drink again. I’d just rather she didn’t have ten.”

Last month Katie told TV host Paul O’Grady as the couple were interviewed: “I can give you an exclusive — after the marathon we’re trying for a baby.” Peter exclaimed: “That’s an exclusive to me as well!”

Jordan replied: “Which means you’ll be lucky in the bedroom!”

But the month before clubgoers had been given an insight into the troubled marriage when Katie broke down plastered in the toilets on a night out.

A witness at the Oceana club on Brighton’s seafront said: “Katie was so drunk. She was saying, ‘Everyone, you see this ring — this ring here? Well it don’t mean nothing. You think Pete is all nicey nice but he ain't. You’re all gonna find out anyway so I might as well tell you myself. Me and Pete are splitting up, it’s over we’re finished!”

The onlooker recalled: “Her friends told her to shut up and tried to drag her out of the toilets.

“But she kept ranting — shouting, ‘You only see one side of him, you don't know the real side of Pete’. She was sloshed and really upset.”

The couple were last seen in public together leaving London’s swanky Nobu restaurant on Saturday night following an appearance at the British Soap Awards, where they handed out a gong.

Jordan was all dolled up and looked a far cry from the drunken mess caught on camera at Bristol club Syndicate just 24 hours earlier.

Soap Awards host Phillip Schofield joked of their split last night: “Wish I'd known when I introduced them at the Soap Awards! Would have been a very different link. Great shame.”

Peter arrived at the couple’s home in Woldingham, Surrey, last night — to discover Katie had fled abroad with their two younger children.

His wife — sporting a yellow vest and leggings — put on a brave face as she was driven away at speed with the kids just an hour before he arrived.

Peter looked distraught as he turned up in a convertible Bentley.

A source said Katie had left son Harvey at home with a nanny.

The source added: “Peter is devastated. He doesn’t know where they all are.”
